How to connect other devices?For devices such as a game console, echo, wireless speaker, smartTV, or other device not having access to a browser, ResNet provides the UCSB Wireless Web which requires you to register each of these types of device so that they can gain network access. For more information on how to register your wireless or wired devices please visit ResNet and go to "Device Registration."

Residents may print remotely via GauchoPrint.
When logging in to print at gauchoprint.ucsb.edu for the first time, follow the "First Time Setup" process and "Get Help".

1. Go to gauchoprint.ucsb.edu and log in with NetID/Password
2. Utilize the “First time Setup” and “Get Help” tabs on the left for per-device instructions.
3. After utilizing those and printing your document from your machine to the Housing queue, scan the QR code on the printer (using your phone while connected to our internet) to release the job. You will need to log in, and may have to scroll down to hit the “release” button.

Cable TV (CATV) vs Cox Cable?

You can receive all of the television services that Cox Cable offers in Santa Barbara in your apartment. Communications Services provides the physical connection and standard service. Premium channels (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, etc.), digital service, and pay-per-view are then available from Cox Communications. Visit UCSB IT services for more information.
