FSH Study Space Policies:
Residential & Community Living reserves the right to close FSH Study Spaces, revoke access and require individuals to vacate the space for misuse and policy non-compliance.
- Residents utilizing Study Spaces must live in Family Student Housing and be at least 18 years of age.
- FSH residents are able to reserve Study Spaces in 2-hour increments. Anyone reserving a time will receive a confirmation email once their appointment is booked. Please submit your reservation requests at least 5-business days ahead of time.
- Priority is always given to residents with confirmed reservations. If you enter a Study Space during your scheduled time slot, and it is already occupied, the other individual(s) must yield and vacate.
- Non-residents may use the space only when actively working with a resident; when the resident leaves, their non-resident study partners must leave as well. Guests must have a visitor parking permit (when applicable).
- Study Spaces are quiet zones at all times. Please limit music to headphones. Noise should be kept at a level that will not disturb neighboring apartment units.
- It is your responsibility to clean the Study Space before leaving! This includes: removing personal items, wiping down surfaces, emptying the trash (throwing it in the dumpster outside, putting a clean bag in the bin), returning furniture back to its proper location, turning off the lights, shutting & locking all windows and doors.
- Alcohol is NEVER permitted inside of a Study Space.
- Sleeping is NEVER permitted inside of a Study Space (for any reason).
- Smoking is NEVER allowed inside or around a Study Space; this includes e-cigarettes & vapes.
