Parking at FSHAny and all parking concerns are managed by Transportation & Parking Services (TPS).
If someone is parked in your assigned space, utilizing the 30-minute unloading spots for beyond 30 minutes, or you are interested in applying for handicap authorization--please reach out to TPS directly! Assigned parking spaces at FSH are designated with a white number in each individual spot. Any spot with a "V" before the number indicates it is a Visitor spot (which requires a visitor permit from one of the parking machines). Someone parked in your assigned parking spot after hours?
Take a picture of the vehicle, capturing the license plate and parking spot number, email [email protected] and call UCPD at 805-893-3446 to have the vehicle ticketed. During this period, you may park in any FSH visitor spot. ePermits & Guest Parking PassesTransportation & Parking Services (TPS) e-permit system utilizes your vehicle license plate. They do not issue decals, rearview mirror hangers, etc.
Each main FSH contract holder (student) receives ten free All-Day visitor parking permits per month. These are tied to the resident's unique parking code & do not rollover. All-Day permits last until 10 am the following day. Parking codes are sent out via email from [email protected] with the subject line: "Monthly Parking Code Reminder". It is your responsibility to retain this code. There is no need to print or display a physical permit on a visitor's dashboard; everything is tied to their license plate. The monthly count associated with your parking code refreshes on the first business day of each month (by 9am). Where can I park?Your 'H' Permit is Valid for On-Campus Parking "Nights and Weekends"
All H56 (Storke) permits and H61 (West Campus) permits allow you to park at the IV Theatre, Embarcadero Hall, and on-campus locations in green and yellow lots as a ‘Nights and Weekends’ permit (from 5 pm to 7:30 am M-F and all weekends) during the academic year only. The permit is NEVER valid in Lots 1, 2, 11, 19, 24 or other Housing-owned apartment lots (beyond Family Student Housing lots). Please note your parking permit is for our residential area only. It is not valid for daytime main-campus parking or where other restrictions apply — for example, reserved, restricted, service, metered or handicap spaces. Any vehicle parked in an Electric Vehicle Charging space must have a valid campus parking permit and be actively charging. Please move your electric vehicle once fully parked to avoid citation, Note for West Campus: This means you can utilize Lot 60 in front of West Campus as a 'Nights and Weekend' area. |
