FSH Parent Testimony
“Our family had an excellent experience with CALM. A few months into COVID shutdowns (summer 2020) we noticed our two year old daughter had developed some negative coping behaviors and we didn’t know how to help her. We met with a CALM consultant over Zoom who talked us through different aspects of what might be causing the behaviors and how to support our daughter with healthy tools she could use to learn to regulate her emotions. We also received guidance and made a plan for how we parents could respond in the moment. We felt heard, validated and empowered. The feedback was immediately useful and we noticed an improvement in our daughter’s behavior after just one session talking with the consultant. If you could use some support in your caretaking, you are concerned about your child’s emotional or mental well-being, or you are needing some fresh ideas to rejuvenate your parenting, I highly recommend taking advantage of this amazing resource!”
